Los Bukis – Navidad sin ti
Los Bukis – Navidad sin ti is a beautiful song that can help you to learn and remember Spanish vocabulary. Enjoy!
Los Bukis (“The Bukis”, buki translates as Little Kid in Yaqui language) were a Mexican Grupera band from Ario de Rosales, Michoacán. In 1975 the band was founded by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís. Their first song was Falso Amor (“False love”) and its style became popular in all of Latin America. Marco Antonio wrote the songs; the album “Me Volvi A Acordar De Ti” in the year of 1987 sold one million records in just a few weeks after its launch earning the album “diamond” status. A prize that only big-time artists at that time like The Beatles and Michael Jackson had achieved. Marco Antonio Solís also wrote and produced albums for artists such as Marisela, Rocío Dúrcal, Beatriz Adriana, Lucero, El Pegasso de Emilio Reyna (now using the name El Pega Pega) and María Sorté. After twenty years of a success with “Los Bukis”, Marco decided to pursue a solo career. Listen to this song with the singer Los Bukis – Navidad sin ti and try to sing along. Enjoy!
Lyrics : Los Bukis – Navidad sin ti
Spanish | English |
---|---|
Otro año ya se ha ido | Another year has gone by |
Cuántas cosas han pasado, | Many things have happened, |
Algo hemos aprendido y | There’s something we’ve learned and |
Algo hemos olvidado. | There’s something we’ve forgotten. |
Pero dentro aquí en mi alma | But Inside of here, In my soul |
Nada, nada ha cambiado | Nothing, nothing has changed |
Siempre te tengo conmigo | I always have you with me |
Sigo tan enamorado. | I continue being so in love. |
Las lucecitas de mi árbol | The lights on my tree |
Parecen que hablan de ti | seem to speak of you |
Y entre piñatas y sonrisas | & In between piñatas and smiles |
Siento que no estés aquí | I feel that you aren’t here |
En el espejo veo mi rostro | In the mirror, I see my reflection |
Va acabándose mi piel | Consuming my skin |
Y la agonía de este año | & In the agony of this year |
Siento que muero con él. | I feel I die, with it |
Llega navidad | Christmas comes |
Y yo sin ti, | and I am without you |
En esta soledad | In all this loneliness |
Recuerdo el día que te perdí. | I remember the day I lost you. |
No se donde estés, | I don’t know where you are, |
Pero en verdad | but truly |
Por tu felicidad | for your happiness |
Hoy brindo en esta navidad. | I make a toast on this Christmas. |
(siempre, siempre me pasa lo mismo | Always, always happens to me |
cuando llegan estos días | when these days come around |
Ahora tengo el regalo que tanto me pedías | Now, I have the present that you begged me for |
Luego veo aquella foto donde estoy junto a ti | Then I look at that picture where I am with you |
Tomándola contra mí pecho digo: | Pressing it to my chest I say: |
“Otra, otra navidad sin ti “ | “Another, Another Christmas without you.” |
