Uno de los aspectos más emblemáticos del otoño es el cambio de color de la vegetación. Las hojas de los árboles pasan del verde brillante al amarillo, naranja, rojo y marrón. Esta transformación crea un paisaje espectacular.	One of the most emblematic aspects of autumn is the changing colors of vegetation. Tree leaves turn from bright green to yellow, orange, red and brown. This transformation creates a spectacular landscape.
Los árboles empiezan a desprenderse de sus hojas. Esto crea alfombras de hojas muertas en el suelo de bosques, parques y jardines, dando a niños y adultos la oportunidad de saltar en los montones de hojas o utilizarlas para crear obras de arte naturales. El otoño también es época de cosechas. Los agricultores recogen cultivos como manzanas, calabazas, calabacines, uvas, frutos secos y cereales.	Autumn is also harvest time. Farmers harvest crops such as apples, pumpkins, squash, grapes, nuts and grains.
El otoño se caracteriza por temperaturas más frescas que el verano. La gente empieza a llevar ropa más abrigada, como chompas, chaquetas y bufandas.	Autumn is characterized by cooler temperatures than summer. People start wearing warmer clothes, such as sweaters, jackets and scarves.
